Today, CZ released an internal memo to all Binance employees. In the memo, CZ mentioned two tweets, one of which was posted by Adam Cochran. The tweet introduced a series of evidence used by the SEC in the lawsuit against Binance, including chat records of Binance employees.

In the letter, CZ emphasized that Binance will not check employees' chat records. He also stated that the SEC's use of employee chat as evidence is "ridiculous".

As you can see, although this was just a "private" complaint between two people five years ago, it has caused great damage to our reputation (and theirs). I want to remind everyone:

Binance is cooperating with investigators. They often request our chat records first. Everything you say may one day appear in court (or on the internet).

By the way, we do not check employees' chat records. This is the first time I (CZ) have seen this.

The SEC (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) using this as a poster is absurd, but we will let our lawyers handle this matter.

More importantly, if you are dissatisfied with working at Binance (or any company), you should talk to your manager and seriously consider your career choices. Don't waste your energy and life on something you don't like, because you won't do well. If you stay, make sure you love your job and our mission: financial freedom. We need people who are fully committed to this mission, because we need to overcome "some" challenges to achieve this goal.
