Kin Postpones Planned Dec. 8 Migration to Solana Blockchain

Rhythm BlockBeats news, on December 8, the blockchain social platform Kin issued a document announcing that out of sufficient precautionary considerations, the team decided to postpone the migration to Solana, which will take at least two days. It is understood that if the migration is completed, it will bring more than 55 million unique accounts to the Solana blockchain. Kin ran a migration simulation on the local testnet last week and everything ran smoothly, with tests running successfully at a rate of 300-500 account creations per second with no interruptions.

Officially, the team will notify users 24 hours in advance before starting the migration again.
