Kin, a blockchain social platform, is set to move to Solana on December 8
Rhythblockbeats news: On November 18, Kin, a blockchain social platform, published an article announcing that it will migrate to Solana blockchain on December 8. Officials say the process will be seamless and all account and balance information will be snapped, with seven trading platforms, including Bithumb Global, already available for users to log in and view.
Details of the migration will be announced closer to the migration date. As far as we know, Kin used Stellar protocol Stellar as a potential alternative in Q1 2018. Later, Kin biked Stellar and launched its own blockchain project, but the blockchain still has a 5-second block interval limit. After evaluating many options, the team decided that Solana was the most suitable solution for Kin. In June, the project team and the community approved the proposed move.
