The 'Year of Jubilee' is approaching, and will the Ordinals protocol's 'Curse Inscription' be discontinued?

Read this article in 5 Minutes
In the 'Year of Jubilee' plan, the 'Curse Inscription' will not be discontinued.
On November 14th, the founder of the Ordinals protocol stated on Twitter that the official team is considering a "Jubilee" event on the Bitcoin mainnet at block height 820512.

"Jubilee" is a special year in Christianity, in which people's sins will be forgiven. During the development of the Ordinals protocol, some special cases led to the successfully engraved inscriptions not being assigned a number by the indexer and therefore cannot be retrieved. These are called "cursed inscriptions". (Related reading: Will "cursed inscriptions" be the next hot topic in Bitcoin NFTs with the new feature of Ordinals?)

"Jubilee" is a correction to some special situations that caused "Curse Inscriptions" in the past. In other words, the old method of creating "Curse Inscriptions" will no longer be applicable and cannot be used in the future.

However, it is inaccurate to say that the "Curse Runes" are now discontinued, because the "Curse Runes" themselves are the "Ordinals Protocol Chaos". Just like the endless bugs in the Windows system, even if ten thousand old bugs are fixed, there will still be countless new bugs that have not been discovered. In the future, there may be "Jubilee" 2.0, 3.0... Therefore, the Ordinals Protocol Contributor @cbspears believes that it is too early to propose the "Jubilee" plan this time, because it is almost certain that new special situations that cause the "Curse Runes" to appear will be discovered later.

Additionally, there are two points worth noting. Firstly, Casey himself stated that it is unlikely for the "Curse Inscription" to be traced back to a "Blessing", meaning that negative inscription numbers will not be converted to positive ones.

Secondly, the numbering of "Curse Inscriptions" is "unstable" because it is unpredictable when special circumstances will occur or be discovered. For example, if an error situation is discovered in the future, but it has actually existed for a long time and there are inscriptions because of it, the order of negative number inscriptions may change. Ordinals protocol's chief maintainer @raphjaph stated that they are only committed to maintaining the stability of positive number inscription numbering.

Finally, do you still remember OP_66? This thing is still hopeless...
