ABU Dhabi, April 25, 2023 -- Layer 1 Venom, a blockchain operating out of the ABU Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), today announced the launch of its public beta network. This milestone marks a significant achievement for Venom in its roadmap planning with the goal of bringing the mainnet online. With the launch of the test Net, Venom also launched a series of decentralized applications developed in-house as part of its growing ecosystem.

Designed to cater more to ecosystem users and developers, Testnet enables developers to test and debug DApps and blockchain protocols while allowing users to experience these DApps firsthand. The goal of the program is to encourage innovation and community building within the ecosystem.

Developers and users can try out the test net in two simple steps. First, download Venom Wallet on your mobile device via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or as a Google Chrome extension on your desktop. Second, users can quickly start testing the Venom ecosystem by applying for a free beta Token.

Peter Knez, Chairman of the Venom Foundation Board of Governors, said: "We are pleased to announce the launch of Venom's public beta network, which is a key step in our upcoming mainnet rollout. With our highly scalable and reliable asynchronous blockchain, we believe developers will be able to build innovative DApps while users will be able to experience them firsthand."

Developers will be able to attempt to build the Asynchronous Venom blockchain, which has superfast speeds of 100k TPS and dynamic sharding capabilities that enhance scalability and network reliability. As a good start, Venom curated a developer documentation library to provide developers with the tools and knowledge they needed to start building.

Venom's network improves interoperability, making it a viable tool for developers, and its low transaction costs make it easier to adopt globally.
