Layer 0 privacy infrastructure NYM officially launches the test network

Block beat BlockBeats news, privacy infrastructure NYM network officially launched alpha test network, its beta test network is expected to start in Q2.

In May 2019, NYM network received a total private investment of 2.5 million us dollars, including well-known capitals such as Binance Labs, NGC and 1kx, aiming to build a Layer 0 privacy system to better realize the privacy functions of Layer 1 and Layer 2.

NYM replaces existing privacy solutions with mixnet, a hybrid network. The Sphinx packet format makes all packets uniform in size, traffic can be mixed up with timing, overlay traffic is added, and multiple hops ensure that users do not have to trust a single node. NTM believes that a hybrid network solution would work better than VPN and onion networks.
