After the release of Rylai, it will be further improved in multiple stages until the main network is online. The first phase of the test network released today mainly includes consensus protocol, P2P protocol and ckb-vm. Community members are very welcome and encouraged to run nodes and mine! The first phase also included a basic intelligent contract programming model and a preliminary implementation of NervosDAO, allowing developers to experiment with building and running CKB scripts.

Jan, chief architect of Nervos, said that all the designs for CKB have been finalized and the details are getting better. After more than 30 iterations, Rylai finally delivered! Everyone is welcome to try out the feeling of mining and trading on CKB. Rylai will continue to iterate after the release until the main network comes online. During this period, we will improve the programming model of CKB according to the feedback from the community, making it more developer-friendly. More importantly, we will propose and implement a new PoW mining algorithm!

Finally, here are instructions for Rylai to mine and send trades on CKB:https://docs.nervos.org

The test network will be reset every two weeks and development progress will be updated every two weeks.
