Storage plate against the trend, what are the targets to focus on?

On February 16th, just as the market began to draw on hawkish comments from the Federal Reserve, the storage sector, which had been underserved in the broader rally, was set to rally against the trend. CZ, founder of Binance, recently said in the official Sapce, Many have underestimated the potential of Greenfield, a BNB "storage chain", to bring the long-forgotten decentralized storage sector back into the public eye. BlockBeats breaks down recent developments and potential tokens to watch:

Filecoin (FIL)

When it comes to decentralized storage, Filecoin is a racetrack leader in terms of market capitalization and name recognition.

On January 31, Filecoin announced that it would launch its EVM-compatible Filecoin Virtual Machine in a few weeks, with more than 100 teams already working on FVMS. FVM combines smart contracts with provable storage and can be used to deploy programmable storage primitives, cross-chain interoperability Bridges, data-centric decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), Layer2 solutions, and more.

Arweave (AR)

As a decentralized storage agreement in partnership with Instagram, Arweave's future may be more imaginative than Filecoin's.

On February 11, Arweave announced the release of version 2.6, a blockchain storage protocol designed to make Arweave mining more energy efficient, incentivize miners to store more data and create a more efficient storage marketplace. The hard fork upgrade will be activated at Block height 1,132,210 at an estimated time of 2200 UTC+8 on March 6.  

  Sam Williams, founder of Arweave, said unbundled Arweave transactions may experience a pause in processing, expected to last a few hours, as the network difficulty changes. Users of the bundled service may not be affected. The hard fork is likely to be followed by one or more tweaks in the coming weeks and months.

Storj (STORJ)

Storj is actually one of the oldest projects in the decentralized storage space. Storj has been around for a long time compared to other new projects. Like all storage projects, Storj's eco-users can purchase storage services using tokens. On the other hand, participants can also provide idle storage space for the network platform to use, while getting some value in return.

Storj has developed a complex unlocking program for its tokens with the aim of reducing the ability of any single organization to gain effective control over its Token market, impacting Storj's ability to circulate supply, and providing transparency and predictability to the ecosystem. Simply put, the project side does not want to have the capital or individuals to hype it, making the price of its Token STORJ, which is used to pay for storage services, more stable.

Bluzelle (BLZ)

Bluzelle started as a Web3 decentralized database project, with the mainnet launched in early 2021, followed by the launch of its NFT storage service and its first game product, Denomination, in late 2021.

Denominatio is a real-time card battle game with a Play to Earn economy in which players can play against each other (PvP) or against NPCS (PvE) in order to earn Token rewards that can be used for governance or the purchase of unique NFT. Perhaps getting a taste of GameFi, Bluzelle gradually shifted its focus to GameFi and officially joined Cosmos Ecology on February 2 this year as a GamefI-focused Layer 1 network.

During a recent AMA with Binance, Bluzelle's CEO announced that Bluzelle's new game GAMMA 4, also a card game, is coming soon, and the trailer SPARK OF WAR has been released.
