Zcash developer ECC on Monday announced the launch of the Zcash developer alliance (ZDA), which is currently open only to invitation-only projects and enterprises, according to BlockBeats. The alliance had already invited consensus sys and two cosmos-based projects to join.
Researcher & NBSP; of the Zcash foundation; Henry DE Valence Says his team is helping to bring the Zcash shielding pool to Cosmos, though the nonprofit has not yet joined ZDA. On the other hand, consensus sys CEO Joseph Lubin said in a press statement, "it feels like the time has come to build a zcash-ethereum chain bridge."
Basically, other blockchains can be connected to the Zcash ecosystem after joining the alliance. For example, Cosmos users can enter and exit the encryption system without revealing personally identifiable information, just as Zcash users can block their own information when making payments. The more people use this Shared anonymous set, the more effective it is at anonymizing data.
The Ethereum foundation is already working on how to use these privacy options in Eth 2.0. Bolt Labs founder Ayo Akinyele has also been working since 2019 to enable some of Zcash's privacy features on bitcoin's lightning network.
