Cosmos founder joins Zcash technical advisory board, ZEC may be used for Cosmos DeFi ecology

BlockBeats news, Cosmos founder Zaki Manian has joined Electric Coin Co.(ECC) technical advisory committee. Electric Coin Co. is the creation and management group for Zcash's crypto-assets. Manian has deep expertise in cryptography and distributed consensus systems. He is the founder of Cosmos and an advisor to Tendermint and several other investment funds and startups.

As for the reasons for joining this time, Zaki Manian says the Zcash community may want to try alternative (and more effective) consensus, such as PoS. Iqlusion is working with the community, in the isolated pool (shielded pool) and set up a bridge between the Cosmos IBC network. This will make ZEC available in the emerging ecosystem of Cosmos DeFi applications.
