Kim Yo-jong again denies North Korea's involvement in the Binance hack, stating that dialogue with the US remains a peaceful option.

BlockBeats news, November 4 - According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim Yo-jong, Deputy Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, issued a statement again denying North Korea's involvement in the Binance crypto asset theft case. She stated that dialogue with the United States remains one of the options for achieving peace, but it is not a necessary condition for safeguarding North Korea's national interests.

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on October 31 attributed the $6.3 billion Binance crypto asset theft case to North Korea and referred to the related cyber activities as "TraderTraitor." Kim Yo-jong had previously refuted this attribution, calling it a "serious political provocation"; in her latest statement, she said the accusation is merely the "tip of the iceberg" of the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK.

Kim Yo-jong also stated that the U.S. abandoning its hostile policy toward the DPRK is a prerequisite for resolving the issue, otherwise the DPRK has no reason to negotiate with the United States. She warned that the DPRK will respond, but did not specify concrete measures.
