SpaceX Earnings Preview: Market Consensus Revenue Around $12.9 Billion, Focus on Whether It Can Achieve First Profitable Quarter Since Listing

BlockBeats news, October 20 — SpaceX will release its Q3 2026 financial results after the U.S. stock market closes today. The financial and operating results will be published after the U.S. market close (4:00 AM Beijing time tomorrow), and management will hold a live audio-only webcast to discuss the results (4:30 AM Beijing time tomorrow). The live webcast and replay will be available on the investor relations website. This is SpaceX's second full quarterly earnings report since going public. Previously, Q2 revenue was approximately $7.8 billion, up about 92% year-over-year, with a net loss of $541 million. The market's general expectation for Q3 is revenue of around $12.9 billion, representing significant year-over-year growth, mainly driven by the AI computing power business, with attention on whether it can achieve its first profitable quarter since going public, as well as the pace of capital expenditures (especially AI-related).

In addition, other earnings reports worth closely watching in today's U.S. stock market include:

Netflix (NFLX) will release its Q3 earnings after the market close. Market consensus EPS is approximately $0.82, with revenue of approximately $12.87–$12.88 billion (about +12% year-over-year), the slowest third-quarter growth rate in nearly three years. The company has recently carried out layoffs and increased investment in advertising and sports content, and its stock price is already near a 52-week low. The options market expects volatility of about 10%. If guidance is weak or user engagement falls short of expectations, it could further weigh on risk appetite.

Vicor (VICR) will release its Q3 earnings before the market open. The market expects revenue of approximately $187 million (up about 69% year-over-year), with EPS of approximately $1.24–$1.32. The company focuses on vertical power delivery modules and directly benefits from AI server and high-performance computing demand. Management has recently raised revenue guidance multiple times and has obtained AI-related licensing revenue. If actual performance exceeds expectations, it could provide positive validation of power demand for AI infrastructure.
