BlockBeats news, October 19: Goldman Sachs analyst Gabriela Borges upgraded CoreWeave's rating from "Neutral" to "Buy," setting a target price of $106 (down from the previous $139).
Since August 11, the stock has plunged 43%, and over the past five trading days alone it has fallen 24%, due to market concerns over credit market volatility, financing costs, and AI demand.
Borges believes investors have overestimated CoreWeave's future cost of capital while underestimating the potential for improved returns on its investments, creating an attractive buying opportunity after the sell-off. (Bloomberg)
