Zcash mining company Fortitude receives $50 million credit facility from parent company DCG, funds to be used for expanding mining machines and data centers.

BlockBeats news, September 24: Zcash mining company Fortitude Mining announced that its parent company, Digital Currency Group (DCG), has increased its existing credit facility from $26 million to $50 million, with an additional commitment of $24 million; combined with the remaining available amount, Fortitude currently has approximately $31 million in available borrowing, and expects these funds to be disbursed entirely in the form of ZEC.

After receiving ZEC, Fortitude may sell it on the market, with the proceeds to be used to pay for the purchase of 9,000 Zcash ASIC mining machines, as well as capital expenditures for building and acquiring data centers, power infrastructure, and more. (TheEnergyMag)
