Google engineering veteran Addy Osmani, with 14 years at the company, joins Anthropic to work on Claude Code development.

动察 Beating AI Flash: Addy Osmani has announced he is joining Anthropic, where he will work on Claude Code development, with a focus on improving the developer experience.

Osmani spent over 14 years at Google, where he was long responsible for Chrome developer experience before moving to Google Cloud AI. He led Cloud AI developer experience and technical advocacy, and was also involved in the launch of products such as Agent Platform, Agent CLI, and Agent Studio.

Over the past year, he has been researching Coding Agents and Agent workflows, and has also been publicly using and analyzing Claude Code on a regular basis.
