Insight Beating AI News Flash: According to the latest internal source, Byte recently held a BeanStock briefing, raising the price from $14.85 in June to $17.02, marking a 14.6% increase in just two months. Additionally, some employees have the option to adjust their compensation structure by converting a portion of their total package from cash to BeanStock.
The exchange rate varies for each individual. It is reported that some L2 and L3 employees have a conversion rate of 20%, while some L3 and L4 employees may have rates of 25% to 30%. Byte has also increased the allocation of BeanStock, with some employees receiving an additional allocation of around 5% of their total package.
This policy does not apply to all employees but primarily impacts teams such as Seed's pre-training, multimodal, VLM large model teams, and the BeanStock main app within Flow. Teams closely associated with Seed, such as the Ark team, may also receive BeanStock.
BeanStock is an internal virtual stock incentive designed by Byte for its AI business. The initial buyback price in April was $13.08, which increased to $14.85 in June. In May, some Seed employees were already able to choose to receive their year-end bonus in BeanStock. By further opening up the cash conversion of the total package this time, employees can allocate more income directly into the BeanStock business.
Starting from $13.08 in April, BeanStock has accumulated a 30.1% increase. Comparing the data from April to June, BeanStock increased by 13.5%, while Byte Group options only saw a growth of around 2.6%.
