BlockBeats News, August 19th, Yushu Technology IPO was successfully completed today, with founder Wang Xingxing, Sequoia Capital's Neil Shen, and renowned singer Wang Leehom attending the thank-you banquet. Wang Leehom recollected his experience of collaborating with Yushu Technology on a humanoid robot stage performance in his speech at the event.
Leehom Wang mentioned that over a year ago, he initially visited Yushu Technology with the hope that the company would design a mechanical piano that could move on stage during his concert. However, Wang Xingxing responded, "We don't make pianos, but we make humanoid robots." Subsequently, the Yushu team captured thousands of movements through motion capture and tried to incorporate the robot into the complex choreography of the entire concert.
During the performance, the robot experienced issues with gradually slowing down out of sync with the beat. Leehom Wang stated that the Yushu engineering team then worked through the night to write new code to synchronize the robot with the lighting system's timecode. They completed the adjustments before the official start of the performance, ensuring a successful show. He mentioned that the team's response to facing tasks they had never done before was always, "We haven't done this before, but we can definitely do it."
Leehom Wang also noted that the day after the performance, Elon Musk retweeted a video of the show, commenting "Impressive." Wang Leehom expressed at the thank-you banquet, "Today, even the financial world was amazed," and congratulated Wang Xingxing and the Yushu team.
