BlockBeats News, August 18, according to TechCrunch report, AI-driven workflow automation tool Relay is shutting down. The company, founded in 2021, aimed to be the "new Zapier." Currently, some employees, including members of the company's senior management, will be joining the Google Chrome team.
Relay's founder and CEO, Jacob Bank, announced on Monday in a company update that Relay will cease serving paid users on September 14, while free users lost access on August 15. The announcement of the app's shutdown was initially made in July this year.
Bank had previously worked at Google for over 6 years. He revealed that he will be rejoining the tech giant as the Vice President of Product for Google Chrome, responsible for leading Chrome's product and developer relations team.
