Bank of America Merrill Lynch raised its CPU market size forecast due to increased demand for AI, and also raised the price targets for AMD, ARM, and Intel.

BlockBeats News, June 11th, Bank of America raised its Server CPU Market Size Forecast, stating that AI demand will be a key driver. Bank of America analyst Vivek Arya stated that driven by Agentic AI demand, the Bank of America has raised its projected total addressable market for server CPUs in 2030 from $125 billion to over $170 billion. He believes that AI systems capable of planning and executing multi-step tasks will further increase CPU usage demand beyond accelerators.


Bank of America also raised its price targets for AMD, ARM, and Intel, citing enhanced long-term semiconductor growth prospects and continued chip demand expansion.
