BlockBeats News, February 17th, according to The Block, StarkWare is integrating Nightfall (an open-source zero-knowledge privacy layer developed by one of the Big Four accounting firms, EY) into its Starknet for enabling confidential on-chain institutional transactions on public blockchain infrastructure.
This move allows institutions to conduct private B2B payments, fund operations, and tokenized asset transfers on public blockchain while keeping sensitive transaction details private. StarkWare states that Nightfall inherently supports transaction privacy along with support for selective disclosure and compliance requirements such as Know Your Customer (KYC), making the system cater to institutional user needs.
