BlockBeats news, November 6 — Hypercall, an on-chain options platform built on Hyperliquid, plans to launch a pre-IPO options market linked to Anthropic, calling it the first market of its kind. Trading is expected to begin on Monday, will run 24/7, support small position sizes, and be available only in select non-U.S. jurisdictions, not to U.S. customers.
The platform will support call and put options as well as more complex spread strategies. The contracts are synthetic, cash-settled derivatives; traders will not hold actual Anthropic shares or receive voting rights, and settlement amounts are calculated based on the strike price and the expiration reference price.
Existing Anthropic-linked perpetual contracts on Hyperliquid can provide a hedging channel for options market makers. Hypercall currently offers options linked to SpaceX, the S&P 500 index, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. Founder Jake Sylvestre previously disclosed that the platform's September options notional trading volume was $536 million.
