Sui developer announces game handheld SuiPlay0x1, expected to be launched in 2025
According to BlockBeats, on April 10, Decrypt reported that the game startup Playtron and Mysten Labs have cooperated to launch the game console SuiPlay0x1, which was demonstrated at the Sui Basecamp event in Paris today.
It is reported that SuiPlay0x1 is a handheld gaming device running the Linux-based Playtron operating system, which is expected to be launched in 2025. The device can not only run Sui-based games, but also blockchain games on other networks, and even PC games from platforms such as Steam and Epic Games Store. But the device will have a deep and native integration of the Sui blockchain.
Playtron recently announced that it has received $10 million in financing, and supporters include Mysten Labs, Samsung Next, and other crypto companies such as Polychain and Circle Ventures. Co-founder and CEO Kirt McMaster was the CEO of mobile operating system startup Cyanogen, and another co-founder and chairman John Lagerling helped Google promote the Android system.
