Starting at 08:53 this morning, the PeckShield security shield risk control platform DAppShield detected that hackers were constantly making money by creating new accounts and calling the luckydraw method of the EOS DEOS Games contract. So far, over 300 accounts have been created and thousands of EOS have been accumulated.
A preliminary analysis by PeckShield security staff suggested that the account had previously attacked EOSNow, another EOS guessing game, in two separate trades-blocking attacks. Different from previous known attack characteristics, this attack is a new type of attack. By creating new accounts in batches, hackers make small bets in exchange for large returns, which are unusually high and look like "pulling wool".
PeckShield security personnel are following up on the analysis and further details of the attack characteristics are pending further disclosure. This is to issue an early warning to the DApp developer community, hoping that DApp developers will keep alert to the abnormal situation of the game.
