PeckShield: several EOS dapps have been compromised by a hacker's new trading memo

Blockbeats has learned that PeckShield security shield risk control platform DAppShield recently detected that three EOS guessing dapps were attacked by the new trading memo, resulting in a total loss of 12,883 EOS.

A preliminary analysis by PeckShield security staff suggests that the hackers carefully constructed the memo for the bet transaction, causing the server to interpret the exception, which could lead to continued winning or abnormally large refunds.

From the perspective of weekly active users, EOS Global (99118) is the most prominent of the three public chain dapps. Through the analysis of the Dapp user account, it is found that:

1. Among the weekly active users of EOS Global, 22,841 accounts were created this week, accounting for 23%;

2. For a total of 855 accounts, the first six characters are eosbt, while for 540 accounts, the first six characters are XXXXCC;

3.98838 accounts played only one Dapp from EOS Global, accounting for 99.7%. & have spent
