Blockbeats has learned that recently, PeckShield, a blockchain security company, found that a majority of DApp contracts use the contract consistency verification service of TSC, a third-party platform, when it was deeply analyzing the security of DApp contracts in wave field.
An in-depth analysis by PeckShield security personnel found that TSC could help DApp developers verify some basic security guarantees, but the TSC service code itself was not yet complete enough to guarantee the reliability of the verification results.
Among the 279 contracts approved by TSC so far, only 85 of them are consistent with the bytecode on the Tron chain, and the rest cannot be fully matched. PeckShield security personnel contacted the TSC developer, who admitted that the service was still in the early stages of construction and could not guarantee the reliability of the audit results.
PeckShield hereby reminds the Tron DApp contract developers to seek professional contract audit and security emergency response services from an official third-party platform with security background. When participating in the game investment, DApp users must pay attention to whether the security protection measures in the contract are in place to avoid the irreversible loss of digital assets.
