NGC Ventures has launched a "24/7 cryptography fund" that is 80 per cent subscribed

The fund, which is capped at $25 million, was 80% subscribed at launch. Instruments used to execute a 24/7 investment strategy include tokens, structured products in equity and primary and secondary markets, fixed income and quantitative trading, arbitrage, mergers and acquisitions, mortgages and mining.

According to BlockBeats, NGC Ventures' "24/7 investment strategy" is largely modeled on merrill lynch's "investment clock" theory. While central bank intervention, market gaming mechanisms, global economic integration and buffer effects make investment clock models unreliable for investing in traditional financial markets, NGC argues that the same restrictions do not apply to cryptocurrencies. NGC has also adjusted some of Merrill Lynch's model references to be more responsive to changes in the encryption market. The original inflation factor was replaced by the emotional factor, that is, the price of bitcoin was used as a benchmark for "market sentiment", and the "GDP growth" factor was replaced by the basic factor representing the organic growth of the industry. Other reference factors include but are not limited to: transaction volume, volume of transactions, number of wallets, number of dapps, entry of leading players and breakthrough in technology development.
