On January 24, 2026, the OKX "New Year's Eve Dinner" event is proceeding in an orderly manner. As an annual key milestone connecting the team, community, and partners, the OKX "New Year's Eve Dinner" not only carries out concentrated discussions on industry trends and product roadmaps but also reflects OKX's long-term judgment and continuous advancement in community building.
At the event venue, Jason, the Product Manager of the OKX Galaxy Community, introduced the product capabilities, incentive mechanisms, and future plans of the Galaxy Community. As OKX's first systematic attempt in the community track, the Galaxy Community is being developed in an open and iterative manner, aiming to build a cryptographic social gateway that serves users, creators, and ecosystem participants simultaneously.

In his presentation, Jason pointed out that the Galaxy Community aims to become a leading community platform in the encryption industry, bringing together high-quality information, trading opportunities, active creators, and deep communities. Currently, the Galaxy Community has built four major core content territories covering the full range of public and private, creation, and interaction needs.
The first is the public domain creation territory: as long as platform users complete KYC, they can activate their creator identity and homepage, directly share trading opportunities, conceptual analyses, provide emotional value, and build personal influence.
The second is the public domain character display, where creators can fully present their personal trading records and influence, enhancing fan trust and engagement.
The third is live streaming capability, combining public domain exposure with private domain deep interaction. The live streaming product is easy to operate and standardized, supporting internal live streaming and multi-platform streaming. Creators can instantly share strategies, interact with fans, and will introduce a tipping mechanism in the future to achieve multiple values such as content exposure, fan stickiness, and transaction conversion.
The fourth is the private domain community territory, centered around group chats, providing rich community management tools. As long as there is no serious violation of content policies, group chats will operate stably for a long time, providing users with a trusted communication shelter.
On top of the four major territories, the Galaxy Community has specially created a "Recommendations" page, including top traders, popular creators, and popular group chats, providing strong exposure and traffic conversion opportunities for high-quality content. In the future, features such as daily hot posts and hot topics will be launched to further help users discover high-value content.
Thanks to hundreds of user feedback received during the public beta testing within 10 days, the Galaxy Community is rapidly iterating: it will soon launch a draft box function to support long-form editing and saving, enhance the @mention function for improved interactivity, introduce more transactional content components, creator personal centers, and data displays. At the same time, live streaming product capabilities will also be gradually improved to provide creators with stronger expression and monetization tools.
Jason emphasized that the Planet Community will not use the traditional transaction attribution revenue-sharing model as a long-term community incentive, mainly based on two considerations: strict attribution will raise the creator's monetization threshold, while loose attribution may lead to over-rewarding; at the same time, transaction revenue sharing does not encourage a diverse content ecosystem, especially non-transactional content such as emotional value and macro-policy analysis.
Therefore, the Planet Community adopts a more dynamic incentive model, with core dimensions including: the community users' intrinsic value, the duration of content consumers in the community, and effective interaction between content consumers and creators. In this system, the incentives have three main features:
· First, a sufficient and even generous cash prize pool is provided weekly. As the community's influence and user base grow, the prize pool will continue to expand, making it highly competitive.
· Second, the larger the user's transaction volume and the higher the fees, the stronger the user's stickiness to the creator, resulting in higher rewards, truly achieving "user value feeding back to the creator."
· Third, "Post Once, Perpetual Reward": Even if the content published by the creator becomes popular in the future, the ongoing effective interaction and points generated will continue to bring income to the creator.
Jason further provided practical paths for creators to gain more traffic and incentives: improve their personal page, showcase their live trading performance, publish high-quality long-form articles, participate in hot topics and active interactions, output trading analysis and components based on experience to help beginners convert, strictly adhere to community content policies, and avoid being reported.
In addition to the weekly long-term incentives, the Planet Community will also launch periodic community competitions (such as the post-Chinese New Year "Planet War" trading competition including individual and community leaderboards), live streaming rewards, paid member communities, paid Q&A, and other diverse monetization methods. The platform promises not to take any cuts and grow together with the creators.
The aforementioned weekly incentives will be officially launched and made public in February.
Although the Planet Community is still in its early stages, Jason admitted that the team is young and efficient, but always adheres to the cautious and rigorous OKX genes: before forming a clear understanding, they will not rashly enter a new track. Over the past year, the team has accumulated a deep understanding of users' social interaction needs through online content, AI summaries, group chats, and other multidimensional attempts—regardless of the market conditions, social interaction is essential: look for opportunities in a bull market and seek emotional value and certainty in a bear market.

The passing line for the Star Community is to provide emotional value and information exchange, while the long-term goal is to become a starting point for new opportunities and achieve multi-level organic integration with the OKX platform:
· Product Level: It has been linked to CeFi's built-in trading, interest, new coin activities, and other functions;
· Information Level: Centered around cutting-edge tracks such as RWA, AI, it creates professional discussions and arenas to attract cross-industry creators and users;
· Equity Level: Incorporating community points, new coin airdrops, and other rights into the incentive system to provide creators with more choices;
· Ecosystem Level: Relying on X Layer, it integrates with the X Layer ecosystem to promote the onboarding of secret communities, explore tipping-point content, and even tokenize social relationships, building a community micro-loop of "Hotspot-Content-Asset-Trading" to contribute to the "On-Chain Everything" movement.
Jason stated that the goal of the Star Community is to be equally competitive with the top products in the field within six months, with community users and creators being the key forces in this process. OKX sincerely invites everyone to join the Star Community for public testing, quickly establish influence, and collectively build their own "Star Tribes."
