With the airdrop rules of Dymension and Saga determined, the airdrop of staked tokens once again drives up the prices of core project tokens in the Cosmos ecosystem, among which the most prominent is the native token TIA of the modular blockchain project Celestia.

Last night, TIA reached a new all-time high, reaching $16 at one point. According to CoinGecko data, as of writing, the price of TIA is $15.82, with a 24-hour increase of 21%. TIA currently has a market capitalization of $2.3 billion and ranks 44th in the cryptocurrency market.

How to Stake TIA?

The Celestia website provides two ways to stake TIA, which are the Keplr wallet channel and the Leap wallet channel. As of the time of writing, the APR for the two staking channels are 16.28% and 13%, respectively.

Using Keplr Wallet to Stake TIA

1. Open the Staked interface in Keplr wallet and select "Stake with Keplr Dashboard".

2. If there are TIA tokens in the wallet, you can see the Celestia staking option and click the "Stake" button.

3. Choose the Celestia network;

4. Select a validator. In this example, we will choose Allnodes as the validator, enter the desired amount of TIA tokens to stake, and select "Stake". BlockBeats reminds readers to avoid selecting nodes with low rankings or exchange nodes, and to choose nodes with a commission of around 5%. Readers should also pay attention to whether the node has experienced any downtime in the past 6 months, as failure to do so may result in not receiving any airdrops.

5. If everything is normal, you can view the reward, cancel the pledge, re-delegate or pledge additional tokens in the Celestia staking interface after confirming the transaction.

If you previously selected an exchange node as your staking node, you can change your staking node by following these steps:

1. Click on your staking node on the wallet homepage.

2. Click "Redelegate".

3. Select a new node;

4. Select the amount of TIA you want to re-stake, click and confirm the transaction to complete the process.

Use Leap Wallet to Stake TIA

The second official staking method is to use the Leap wallet.

1. Click on the top right corner of the Leap plugin and select the Celestia network, then enter the Stake interface.

2. Click on TIA Stake and select a validator. In this example, we will use Allnodes as the validator. Search for the Allnodes validator and click on it. Enter the amount of TIA you want to stake, then click "Review" to confirm the transaction.
