How do I access a regulated dApp without the front end? Former Synthetix developer Liam Zebedee wrote about Dappnet, a license-free app network that could lead to a "truly decentralized vision." BlockBeats compiled the following translation:
Is OFAC violating your rights? You may also be called "decentralized."
可以了解一下 Dappnet。

Dappnet is capture resistant. It is a permissionless application network. It is based on the interstellar file system IPFS and the ENS domain name.
Normally, we access Dapps through DNS and Servers, but these can be deleted, censored, captured, and confiscated at any time.
So far, the solution has been to decentralize the name system using ENS (Ethereum Domain Name Service) and host the dApp's content on IPFS, a BitTorrent-like P2P network.
ENS cannot be impounded and IPFS cannot be examined. When a node is censored on IPFS, other nodes can take its place without a license.
Currently, the best way to use Dapps deployed on ENS/IPFS is to use the ENS gateway, for exampleeth.limo. Gateways make the user experience simpler and smoother by simply accessingtornadocash.eth.limoThe gateway will resolve the ENS domain name to the content on its IPFS.
然而,这些网关也难逃铁拳制裁,因为它们是「中心化的」。
tornadocash.eth.limo 不信你可以试试点击以上链接,还是无法访问 Tornado Cash,因为 eth.limoIn the United States, OFAC must review it.
Earlier this year, another well-known gatewayeth.linkIt can't be accessed because its DNS owner, Virgil Griffith, is in jail, where he can't update the code. (I personally admire him, by the way.)
A similar playbook will play out over and over again, because centralized servers are inherently unsuitable for decentralized applications. These servers have either come under scrutiny, begun to castrate themselves because of political pressure, or are struggling to operate because of a lack of funds.
So the only solution is true decentralization: put IPFS/ENS technology in the browser. In fact, quite a few self-professed smart people are already talking about it.

So, a few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to get the StarkWare Ecology leadLouis GuthmannAnd encryption KOLGregoire LjdaWhen they came up with GTM (Go-To-Market) for my decentralized database network "Goliath", I couldn't help but think, is this too hard to build? ! It's not easy to live up to my expectations.
So I just shut down and threw myself into building Dappnet.
Please click & have spentlink
Behind the scenes, all content is downloaded in a P2P fashion via a caption-resistant IPFS network. The Dappnet client runs the local IPFS node in the background. The node is preconfigured for fast, and it automatically peers with large IPFS providers like Cloudflare and Fleek.

The client runs the local ENS gateway, equivalent toeth.limooreth.link, but is rewritten to run entirely locally on the user's machine.

Of course, there are many more details to optimize the experience. For example, HTTPS secure links of.eth, 404 pages (including links to ENS) that can be opened under.eth, and links to IPFS.

以上所有叠加在一起,意味着我们有史以来第一次能在互联网上拥有一个无法被剥夺的空间,并且不受制于单一主机的决定。
我认为这将对网络产生深远的影响。
forThe userThis means that the front end cannot be censored. For the first time,.eth is a "public infrastructure icon," a website that won't go away, a tool that can be accessed permanently.
foragreementThis means greater operational freedom, security and workflow. The ENS front end can be owned by the DAO and deployed and hosted without a license.
If fromThe broader pictureLooking at it, this would make the network a hyperstructure. Imagine someone writing a blog post and quoting a few links that could be read, interpreted, and built upon 1,000 years later. Original content doesn't die with the creator's life cycle, it lives on in IPFS, and the linked content lives with it.
However, much remains to be done before we reach our ultimate goal.
- IPFS must be improved: lighter nodes, better visibility of the download process. (There is currently a lack of tools like "seeder" (clients that have finished downloading) and "leecher" (clients that are participating in downloading) for dissemination (how content is mirrored/tagged), and better tools. These improvements also required the joint efforts of IPFS founder Juan Benet and the IPFS team.
- We need to build a decentralized version of Vercel (Web hosting service) for the protocol. It is now very difficult to deploy to IPFS in a truly decentralized manner (unlike Fleek).
-Access to dapploy.eth should be one-click and very convenient: users simply connect to ENS, connect to github, pay some money to the decentralized IPFS accelerator, and end. Your dApp is instantly accessible worldwide.
To do this, we need an IPFS content accelerator that attempts to be a efficient and decentralized pin service (like a protocol). Overall, you will be able to distribute IPFS Content ina decentralized manner different from Pinata/Fleek via smart contract payment and has proven to be much faster.
BlockBeats Note: The pin service is a collection of IPFS nodes dedicated to keeping data on the network so that it cannot be deleted.
I'd like to share a few other thoughts: This could be a chained and trusted consortium that monitors QoS (speed) from decentralized seeder/pinning networks. v2 is probably P2P in the true sense of the word, closer than anything else to EigenTrust reputation management, collaboratively generated/shared using MPC/ZK techniques.
BlockBeats Note: The EigenTrust algorithm is a reputation management algorithm for P2P networks developed by Sep Kamvar, Mario Schlosser, and Hector Garcia-Molina. Based on the upload history of each node, the algorithm provides a unique global trust value for each node in the network, so as to reduce the number of unreal files in P2P networks.
Aside from the interesting details, the most important thing is that we want to make Dappnet universally available. Currently, it only supports the Chrome/FF add-on for macOS.
So if you are interested, please feel free to contact me! Let's build something in this game that changes the rules.
In addition, to commemorate the demise of dApp centralization, I launched the related NFTS. In the future, when the decentralized front end is everywhere, there will be proof that you are the most loyal OG player.
Mint deadlineFor 1 week, the funds raised will be used for product research and development, and the actual application scenarios need to be discussed.
