But there are still some key features missing from Alpha, which will be rolled out in the coming weeks

Ethereum Layer 2 expansion solution Starknet has been deployed on Ethereum test network Ropsten on June 15, 2018. StarkNet is a ZK Rollup scaling solution launched by Ethereum scaling team StarkWare.

Starknet is a licenceless Turing full ZK-Rollup that allows developers to implement the business logic of their choice in a smart contract and deploy it on Starknet without restriction. Starknet's state transitions are validated off the chain and then on the chain, and in Alpha, validation is done on Ropsten.

But there are still some key features missing from Alpha, which will be rolled out in the coming weeks. Include:

1. Interacts between Layer 1 and Layer 2, such as the ability to access funds in Layer 1;

2. On-chain data: publish all storage changes on Ethereum;

3. Composability: Allows contracts to communicate with each other.
