Boca's website today published an article that explains in detail the process of boca's launch. According to officials, the Polkadot network will have a phased launch plan, with each phase being a more decentralized milestone. For more on every detail of the process, see Polkadot and Kusama founder Gavin Wood at the end of this article.

The startup process begins with the Web3 foundation launching the first candidate chain, which is a Polkadot relay chain proposal. The initial chain has a limited runtime, which is limited to basic operations to ensure network stability. These limitations will eventually be eliminated through a series of governance decisions.

Boca line phase

PoA

In the first phase, Polkadot will run as an authoritative proof (PoA) chain maintained by the Web3 foundation's six verifier nodes. The chain only allows users to map DOT tokens and submit their intent to become validators or nominees.

NPoS

Once the Web3 foundation has confidence in the stability of the network and has a sufficient number of verifier node applications, the Web3 foundation will use Sudo (a superuser account with access to governance functions) to initiate the first verifier election. The election will move the network from the PoA to its second phase, the nominating certificate of interest (NPoS), in which the network is protected by the economic staking of the verifier.

governance

When the chain works well with a large-scale set of validators, the Sudo key enables the governance module in Polkadot, that is, the module that enables the council, the technical committee, and the referendum. Once boards and governance tools are in place, the public has the means to change the institutions in the system.

Remove the Sudo

The runtime upgrade initiated by the referendum will remove the Sudo from the Polkadot and return the Polkadot network to the DOT holder. Without Sudo, the chain would no longer be a candidate chain, but a real, decentralized network. & have spent

Start transfer & The core function

The final phase of the Polkadot rollout will involve unlocking the remaining features. The first upgrade after Sudo may allow balance transfer over the network. After that, the proposal unlocks the remaining core functions of Polkadot, such as allowing the first parallel chain and cross-chain messages.
