Users can also generate encrypted wallet addresses with the.crypto suffix

BlockBeats news, Opera announced on March 30 that its android version now seamlessly supports IPFS, the first major browser to enable IPFS, allowing users to sign up for a wallet with an encrypted suffix (.crypto). Meanwhile, Opera's android browser has expanded its encryption purchasing function to all 27 European Union countries, as well as four other countries -- Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Switzerland.

Opera has introduced Web 3 features and a built-in password wallet, making it the first major browser to introduce encryption directly into both mobile and PC browsers. Opera users can now access the decentralized network through the ipfs protocol. They can also register domain names such as.com or.org to generate encrypted wallet addresses with the.crypto suffix, which makes it easier to send and receive cryptocurrency.

In the second half of 2019, the monthly active user base of the Opera browser increased by 40% year on year globally. As previously reported by pulse, the Opera browser added support for bitcoin payments to android's latest update in October 2019. The Opera update allows android users to make bitcoin payments directly from their built-in digital wallet and interact with decentralized applications (dapps) on the TRON blockchain.
