According to Hard Fork April 9reportsThe long-awaited Opera web browser Reborn 3, launched today, features a cryptocurrency wallet built in.

According to the official instructions, the cryptocurrency wallet in the Opera computer browser is synchronized with the cryptocurrency wallet in the Android Opera browser. Opera says this means the wallet keys will never leave the user's smartphone.

In principle this sounds like a two-authentication process. Users are notified on their phones when they need to authenticate their ID or make a transaction on the blockchain. Use your fingerprint to unlock the phone and confirm the transaction.

Opera has selected a few beta testers to test the wallet. An Opera spokesperson said the wallet, which was previously available only in the developer or beta versions, is now available to all of our users.

Users can also browse blockchain apps by typing their address directly into the URL bar, Opera said. There is also a built-in VPN, designed to hide and protect user data from prying eyes.

The browser currently supports the use of ethereum COINS and other tokens based on the erc-20 standard, while COINS minted under the erc-721 standard, such as CryptoKitties, are also supported.

Opera says it also plans to add a built-in encrypted wallet feature, Opera Touch, to the iOS browser soon.
