According to BlockBeats on May 20, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin said at ETH Shanghai conference on May 20, 2022 that the Ethereum team has proposed an expansion plan called Danksharding, In the long term, ethereum's block capacity will be expanded to 80,000 TPS and eventually Rollup will be able to reach 80,000 TPS/ SEC. Proto-danksharding will be completed first, supporting 1MB block capacity and 5000 TPS.
