BlockBeats news, November 8 - ARK Invest founder Cathie Wood stated that she does not believe the results of this U.S. midterm election will halt the AI revolution. She believes that market uncertainty is understandable, but the economy is on a stronger growth trajectory than most investors realize.
She noted that the stock market began pricing in expectations of a potentially prolonged Iran war and a Democratic sweep of the elections as early as May and June, and rising oil and gasoline prices have also added to consumers' cost-of-living pressures. Voters focused on household budgets made the congressional election results more conservative than headlines suggested.
Cathie Wood expects that data center construction companies will pay greater attention to local community concerns and provide and highlight more community benefits, including lower property taxes, more high-paying jobs, promotion of commercial development, and funding for schools and cultural facilities.
She stated that productivity gains from AI are accelerating and expects these benefits to translate into higher pay, stronger profit margins, more investment, and lower prices, helping ease cost-of-living pressures. The market is only beginning to experience the impact of this technological revolution.
