ARK Invest’s Cathie Wood has brought her real US stocks into Bitget through AVS

120 million users can directly trade 10,000+ US stocks such as Tesla and Nvidia

On June 22, 2026, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange Bitget officially launched its US stock trading service Stock+ (part of its "Stocks 2.0" ecosystem). Users can trade directly on the same account Tesla, NVIDIA, and 10,000+ US stocks and ETFs, enjoying benefits such as cash dividends, stock splits, and other real shareholder rights.

At the core of Stock+ is the support provided by the US licensed broker Atomic Vaults (referred to as AVS). AVS is a registered broker-dealer with the SEC in the United States (FINRA BrokerCheck CRD#317194), a member of FINRA and SIPC, regulated by the SEC and FINRA, providing compliant access to US stocks, ETFs, and options for exchanges and global brokerages. According to official information, AVS has a monthly trading volume exceeding $150 billion, supporting 24x5 US stock trading, fractional share investing, stablecoin deposits and withdrawals, as well as institutional-grade clearing and custody.

"This is not tokenization or a derivative, but ownership of real US stocks," said AVS founder Ming Zhao. "Every user's order is routed through the US licensed broker system to Nasdaq, NYSE, and compliant market makers, connecting directly to the liquidity of the real US securities market. The trading period covers pre-market, regular hours, and after-hours trading, supporting fractional share trading; on the funding side, users can directly deposit and settle in stablecoins, truly achieving 'one account connecting crypto assets and US stocks'."

Prior to entering the crypto market, AVS has long provided the underlying infrastructure for US stock trading to Asian internet brokerages and fintech platforms, with deep experience in order execution, risk control and compliance operations, and trade settlement for Asian users. This means that Bitget's choice of AVS is not just to access a licensed broker but to access a set of compliance-proven US stock infrastructure already validated by traditional brokerages.

"Cathy Wood's Disciple" and AVS Founder Ming Zhao: Enabling Crypto Users to Directly Access Real US Stocks

AVS founder Ming Zhao is a US-born Chinese trader, reportedly having an educational background from Columbia University and experience in quantitative trading and cybersecurity. AVS has received investment support from institutions such as ARK Invest and Founders Fund—ARK Invest, founded by the renowned "Cathy Wood," has a long-term bullish view on the integration of traditional capital markets and Web3, a vision that AVS is now realizing by bringing real US stock liquidity to the vast crypto user base.

“Crypto users didn't not want to buy US stocks, they simply couldn't before,” Ming Zhao said. “Our mission is simple - to allow hundreds of millions of global exchange users to buy real US stocks on a familiar platform with familiar assets. Let anyone trade anything, anywhere, anytime. This vision aligns perfectly with Bitget's goal of building a Universal Exchange (UEX).”

Core Capabilities of the AVS Integration

• Trading of US Stocks (NASDAQ / NYSE)

• Pre-market / After-hours trading

• Fractional share trading (tailored for the Asian market)

• Cash dividends and stock split benefits

• Inbound transfer of existing US stock holdings (support from partner brokers)

• Stablecoin (USDC/USDT) deposits, withdrawals, and settlements

• Real-time quotes and Level 2 data

• Options, margin trading, and more features to be gradually released

• Launch on more countries and regions, stay tuned

CEX transitioning from pure crypto to cross-asset is the industry trend of 2026; however, trading US stocks involves strict compliance and clearing, requiring exchanges to partner with licensed compliant brokers as the underlying infrastructure. Apart from Bitget, platforms like Backpack, BIT, MEXC have similarly accessed real US stocks through AVS integration. As more users convert crypto gains into US stock allocations, the "buy coins on-chain, buy stocks on-platform" scenario is becoming the most practical cross-asset trading scene of 2026. It is reported that AVS recently acquired a Hong Kong brokerage license, expanding its service range from US stocks to further connect Asian investors with the US capital market.
