Trump plans to continue raising political funds in a bid to recover influence after midterm election losses.

BlockBeats news, November 6 - According to AXIOS, Trump has told advisers he plans to continue raising funds for his political activities to restore his political influence after the Republican Party's midterm election defeat. Maintaining a political organization, whether the existing MAGA Inc. Super PAC or a newly established one, would provide Trump with a platform to influence the 2028 elections and beyond, including the next presidential election. It would also enable Trump to pressure Republican lawmakers considering breaking with him.

During the 2026 Republican primaries, Trump's MAGA Inc. helped defeat Kentucky Republican Representative Thomas Massie, who publicly criticized Trump, to maintain party discipline. However, with Democrats controlling Congress and major donors beginning to shift their attention to the 2028 general election, Trump's fundraising may become more difficult.
