Beating AI News Flash: Google has showcased the brand-new interface of Antigravity. The v2.29.0 update released on November 3 brought multiple features including real-time voice, cloud-based Agents, and an upgraded built-in browser.
The most intuitive change is the newly added Voice Mode, powered by Gemini Live. Similar to ChatGPT's real-time voice mode, users can talk directly to the AI and have it modify code or execute tasks. While the AI is working, users can interject at any time, add requirements, and even approve or reject operations via voice.
Another major update is Remote Agents. Users can hand off tasks to run on Google's cloud, connecting to GitHub repositories and Google Drive files. Even if the computer is turned off, the Agent can continue working.
Other updates include: a redesigned Home and Automations page for centralized management of scheduled, persistent, and paused automation tasks; new download management and browsing history in the built-in browser; support for directly viewing Jupyter Notebook files; a new dark theme enabled by default, with open interface settings for fonts, keyboard shortcuts, and more.
Currently, Voice and Remote Agents are both in a gradual rollout phase. Cloud Agents are available only to individual Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. Voice applies to local sessions in the Antigravity App and CLI, and is not yet supported in cloud Agent sessions.
