Trump: Will soon decide whether to strike Iran again; Russia-Ukraine deal may be imminent.

BlockBeats news, November 6 - According to Axios, U.S. President Trump said after meeting with senior national security advisors on Thursday that he will soon decide whether to launch large-scale military action against Iran again. With the end of the midterm elections, the domestic political pressure previously faced by the White House has changed somewhat, and the Iran issue has once again become a diplomatic and security topic on which the Trump administration needs to make a decision.

Two U.S. officials revealed that this was the first time Trump specifically discussed the Iran issue with senior national security advisors after the midterm elections, and the meeting was arranged during his weekly intelligence briefing.

At the same time, Russia is pushing to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict through another diplomatic channel. According to Reuters, Trump confirmed on Thursday that he held a private meeting that day with Kirill Dmitriev, Putin's special envoy. Trump did not disclose what exactly he discussed with Putin's special envoy, but said that an agreement to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict may be reached soon.
