BlockBeats news, November 6 - HYPE treasury company Hyperliquid Strategies Inc. (PURR) announced its third-quarter financial and operational results for the period ended September 30, 2026. During the quarter, the company raised $911 million in equity capital through a committed equity financing facility and deployed $802 million of capital, of which $785 million was used to purchase 9.1 million HYPE tokens, increasing its HYPE holdings from 29.3 million tokens as of June 30 to 38.52 million tokens as of September 30; another $17 million was used to repurchase 2.7 million PURR shares, with net income of $620.6 million.
The company stated that as of September 30, its balance sheet remained strong, with $254.6 million in cash and cash equivalents and no debt. In addition, the validator node operated by Hyperliquid Strategies in partnership with Unit has become the largest non-foundation validator node on the Hyperliquid network.
David Schamis, Chief Executive Officer of Hyperliquid Strategies, said that while deploying $802 million of capital during the quarter, the company also submitted an application for a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) license. The company believes that Hyperliquid is gradually occupying markets in on-chain finance that can generate real fee revenue, and that the related value flows back almost entirely to HYPE holders through a programmatic buyback mechanism. Holding HYPE is intended to capture the economic returns associated with the Hyperliquid protocol, while the FCM license application is intended to bring markets deployed on Hyperliquid into the U.S. domestic regulatory system.
