He Yi: Encourages all third-party platforms integrated with Binance to review their security controls.

BlockBeats news, November 5: Binance CEO Yi He stated that we also encourage all third-party platforms integrated with Binance to review their security controls, monitor for unusual activity, and contact us immediately if any concerns are found. This is not a challenge that any single company can handle alone.

CZ also stated that if SignalPlus is used on any trading platform, it is recommended to revoke all API keys. It is generally not advisable to store API keys on any third-party platform. Previously, Deribit also reported related situations.

Earlier, Binance stated that in response to potential security issues reported by third-party platform SignalPlus, it has taken preventive measures and proactively revoked all API keys associated with SignalPlus. Binance emphasized that its own systems were not affected and user funds are safe. Binance reminds SignalPlus users to log directly into their Binance accounts, check positions and open orders, refrain from rebinding API keys until SignalPlus confirms the issue is fully resolved, and recommends always enabling IP whitelisting.
