Beating AI News Flash: Kuaishou's Kling AI has announced that Kling 4.0 Flash is now officially available to all users. The full version of Kling 4.0 had previously been fully launched, but the Flash version, which focuses on fast, low-cost generation, had been available only to Black Gold annual membership users for trial since September 28.
Flash retains capabilities such as text-to-video, image-to-video, and multi-material reference generation, but makes trade-offs in video specifications and control precision. It can generate videos up to 20 seconds long at 720p in a single pass, while the full version supports video generation up to 30 seconds long at higher resolution and can also control scene changes through multiple keyframes. Flash currently does not support first-and-last frame or multi-keyframe control.
Developers can now integrate this lightweight model into AI Agents via API, MCP, and CLI for automation and batch video generation. Kling also provides an Adobe plugin that allows creators to invoke the model directly in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects without repeatedly switching between creative tools.
