Beating AI News Flash: DeepSeek showcased Harness's Creator Mode. Harness currently offers four modes: Standard, PTC, Minimalist, and Creator. Among them, Creator Mode allows users to directly have AI develop plugins, modify the software interface, and then install them into Harness for use, without needing to write any code themselves.
For example, if you want to edit videos, you can have AI build a editing tool with a timeline; if you want to read papers, you can create a reader that supports highlighting and annotations; you can also generate poster design tools, interactive 3D models, or even modify Harness's entire interface, switching it to a pixel game style.
Users only need to describe their requirements, and AI will review Harness's development interfaces, write plugin code, complete the installation, and check the running results. Installed plugins can be retained and continue to be used the next time you open it. In addition to adding new interfaces, you can also add tools to the Agent, enabling it to perform operations it originally did not have.
In the official demo, AI created a floating Pomodoro timer, wrote over 600 lines of front-end code, completed installation and operation, taking a total of 5 minutes and 24 seconds.
DeepSeek also released the prompts for 7 demo cases. However, some works were modified through multiple rounds of dialogue, and the same results cannot be obtained directly with a single sentence input.
