Beating AI News Flash: Alibaba Cloud has launched Qovest, an AI investment research workstation for professional investors. Users only need to submit a research request, and it can automatically query financial data, gather earnings report materials, break down industry chains, calculate investment scale, and ultimately generate a research report.
For example, when researching the humanoid robot industry chain, it can break down the per-unit value and localization level of each segment and generate an interactive industry chain map. When researching power facilities for data centers, simply modifying one underlying assumption automatically updates the related calculations.
Qovest also offers an "Investment Research Space," where historical research results, trading notes, and questions to be verified can be saved, so users do not have to start research from scratch every time. It also supports scheduled tracking of market changes. Users can set a weekly research task for gold ETFs, allowing AI to regularly update data such as international gold prices, the U.S. dollar index, ETF holdings, and central bank gold purchases, and generate a dynamic analysis dashboard.
To improve the accuracy of financial research, Alibaba Cloud has purchased professional financial databases and developed its own financial Agent execution framework to connect the processes of data retrieval, analysis, and report generation. The company says that in internal comparative evaluations on the FinFIRST and iRaB financial benchmark sets, Qovest leads in answer quality, response speed, and cost, but it has not yet disclosed specific results or test configurations.
Qovest is currently open for invitation-based testing to individual users. Registration allows users to receive credits for a free trial, with two subscription plans of RMB 99 per month and RMB 199 per month to be offered later. An enterprise edition for financial institutions is also planned for launch in the near future.
