After the FOMC meeting, traders further bet on a 25 basis point rate hike in December, but the market remains divided.

BlockBeats news, October 29 - Following the October FOMC meeting and the tone set by Warsh's speech, market traders are further betting on a 25 basis point rate hike in December. According to CME's "FedWatch" data, the probability of a 25 basis point rate hike in December has risen to 83.3%, an increase of 5% from the 78.4% probability before the FOMC.

Meanwhile, the probability of no rate hike has risen to 16.7% (previously 13.6% before the FOMC), and expectations for a 50 basis point hike have been eliminated.
