BlockBeats news, October 26 — JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee on Thursday maintained an "Overweight" rating on Microsoft with a price target of $625. In his research note, he mentioned that investors will closely track the business growth rates of Azure, commercial Microsoft 365 cloud, and Copilot.
"However, compared to this quarter's earnings report itself, the stock price reaction may be more determined by the business outlook," Chatterjee said, noting that investors want to see signals of sustainability in cloud business and AI growth.
Yorkville Ives analyst Dan Ives on Friday maintained an "Outperform" rating on Microsoft with a price target of $615. Ives listed Microsoft as one of his "top five tech picks through 2027." Ives said that the concentrated earnings disclosures from hyperscale cloud providers like Microsoft, Alphabet, and Amazon are expected to "soothe the highly volatile market."
