BlockBeats news, October 22 — Robinhood's Middle East expansion plan has moved from intention to substantive implementation. According to multiple sources, the company has selected the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) as the location of its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional headquarters and has submitted a Category 4 license application to the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to obtain the qualification to legally provide trading services in the UAE. If approved, Robinhood will be able to serve clients in the UAE and the broader MENA region, with its operating base set up in DIFC.
