HKEX and S&P Dow Jones Indices Partner to Launch the S&P 500 HKEX Tech 100 Index

BlockBeats news, October 12: HKEX announced that it has partnered with leading index provider S&P Dow Jones Indices to develop and launch the S&P 500 HKEX Tech 100 Index, providing the market with a cross-market index that combines leading U.S.-listed companies and the largest technology companies listed in Hong Kong by market capitalization.

The S&P 500 HKEX Tech 100 Index was launched on September 30, 2026, aiming to support future ETFs tracking the index in qualifying for inclusion in Stock Connect trading, and to provide investment allocation across U.S. and Hong Kong stock markets through a single benchmark, promoting portfolio diversification and cross-market capital flows.
