Securitize tokenizes 12 US stocks including Apple and Nvidia on Solana, plans expansion to NYSE digital platform.

BlockBeats news, October 8 — Tokenization company Securitize announced today that it is bringing 12 US stocks, including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, and Microsoft, onto the Solana blockchain with a new product called "Securitize Stocks." The first batch of companies covered includes Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Netflix, Circle, Strategy, and Palantir. Each stock token is backed 1:1 by actual shares and structurally preserves applicable shareholder rights such as dividends and voting rights, but represents a securities entitlement rather than direct ownership on the company's shareholder register; once tokenization is adopted by issuers, a conversion channel may be offered.

The product will initially trade on Securitize's existing Solana platform, with liquidity provided by Jump Trading and settlement in the USDC stablecoin. It is also expected to list on the NYSE's planned 24/7 digital trading platform and the upcoming OKXICE tokenized securities venue, the latter a joint venture between NYSE parent Intercontinental Exchange and OKX, both of which must meet listing and regulatory requirements.
