动察 Beating AI News Flash: Meta has released Muse Gadgets, open-sourcing the ESP32 firmware and Linux SDK used to connect to Muse. Developers can use off-the-shelf ESP32 development boards, Raspberry Pi, or Linux devices to build their own Muse hardware. Screens, microphones, speakers, buttons, and sensors can all be connected, and the code uses the Apache 2.0 license.
Meta has also launched Muse Home Link. This small USB-C device connects Muse to the home local area network, and then controls devices such as lights, TVs, speakers, and printers through community-developed skills. Integrations already include Philips Hue, Sonos, Apple TV, Google Nest, and Samsung TV. Meta produced an initial batch of 5,000 units, available free to U.S. Muse subscribers, with shipping starting in October.
Previously, Meta had already announced its own Muse Charm, but it has not yet officially gone on sale. Now developers do not have to wait for official hardware and can build their own screens, desktop devices, and smart home hubs for Muse.
